Vacation Time: One Day
Where: Home!
What Happened:

- sold the coin Xanatos gave her with the help of F4, probably
- forced to open a savings account to squirrel away some of that money by Hanazawa Rui
- probably forced to invest some more of that money by a member of F4 (probably Hanazawa Rui)
- tries to look up Xanatos, but can't find him because ~*different worlds*~. sadfaces >:
- goes back home to present leftover money to the Makino family! The following conversation ensues:

Mama & Papa: [while wailing and crying] WE DIDN'T RAISE YOU TO BE THAT KIND OF GIRL, TSUKUSHI!! SELLING YOUR BODY LIKE THAT TO MAKE THIS MUCH MONEY IN ONE DAY, MAMA AND PAPA CAN'T EVEN LOOK YOU IN THE EYE! WE FAILED YOOOUUUUU!!!!!
Susumu: [while crying manly boy-tears!!!] Having to go this far for us... I can't look at Oneechan either!!!
Makino: I DIDN'T--!! I EARNED THIS MONEY BY WORKING AS A PERSONAL ASSISTANT!!

- Makino family finally accepts that money and gleefully suggests A BIG DINNER CELEBRATION HURRAY!!!! They end up buying the most expensive food they can find, and belatedly realize they have no idea how to prepare it. Whoops.
- Makino begrudgingly assents and invites F4, Yuki, Okami-san, Tarou and his Ginormous Family, Sakurako&Shigeru&Umi (if they're in town) over. Tries to call Naruse and leaves a message on his answering machine

- I DUNNO PROBABLY MORE SHENANIGANS WITH F4 GO HERE \o/

- when everyone leaves, convinces family that they should all sleep together in one room LIKE OLD TIMES!!! but stays awake while everyone else sleeps until getting whisked back to camp

How Korea's adaptation of HYD should have really ended.

At the rate it's going (which is about one new adaptation/season of HYD per year for the past seven-ish years?) Hana Yori Dango might eventually have the dubious honour of being the manga series with the greatest number of adaptations. And thus, there are lots of heated fangirl debates about which is the best version and who are the hottest F4, blah blah blah, so on, so forth.

Well I'm breaking the pattern and putting the emphasis on Makino instead. HA! I have lots of really strong-but-dumb opinions that I feel compelled to dump somewhere.

.... which is really just me bitching about how much I came to dislike Korea's interpretation of Makino, and here's why!!! They turned bulldozer-Makino into nothing but a weepy mess who was incapable of doing anything for herself, so yeah. I'm annoyed.

I made a quick comparison chart with just the "main characters" because I'm lazy \o/ S-Sorry, Oneesan...
